HeartCode® Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through CPR Plus focuses on the techniques required to manage and care for infants, children, and adults in respiratory distress. During the two-part program, students will start with a web-based, self-paced class that uses eSimulation technology to help them assess and treat patients. For the final half of the class, students meet with an instructor to practice and demonstrate skills.

This American Heart Association (AHA) course teaches leading industry standards and is a good option for those seeking an opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom.
Once the training is successfully completed, a certification card will be issued within 24 hours or even the same day of the class. The card is valid for two years.

- How to perform adult, child, and infant CPR
- Choking and airway obstruction
- AED operation
- Two-person CPR
- Correct bag valve mask use
- Treating for choking and airway obstruction
- Rescue breathing techniques
