The HeartCode® Pediatric Basic First Aid course focuses on the illnesses and injuries commonly found in children. The first portion of the program is a web-based, self-paced class that uses eSimulation technology to help students assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. During the second part of the training, students meet with a CPR Plus instructor to practice and demonstrate skills.
This American Heart Association (AHA) training course teaches leading industry standards and is a good option for those seeking an opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom.
Once the class is successfully completed, a certification card will be issued within 24 hours or even the same day of the class. The card is valid for two years.
