Founded to help make communities safer
CPR Plus was established to help expand our local “safety net.” Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive CPR and First Aid training in the St. Louis area — so that everyone can feel a little safer and better prepared in case of an emergency. We do this with friendly teaching, modern equipment, and the latest curriculum from the American Heart Association.
Trusted throughout the St. Louis region
Since 1993, we’ve certified more than 100,000 people in CPR, First Aid, and other life-saving skills. We specialize in providing on-site classes at the client’s location, making certification easy and efficient. We also offer blended-learning courses with an online component, as well as one-on-one training for individuals.
Classes for laypersons include CPR and AED training, Basic First Aid for adults and children, and Bloodborne Pathogens training. For healthcare professionals, we offer BLS, ACLS, PEARS, and PALS courses.
CPR Plus is a registered American Heart Association Community Training Center, and all our classes meet or exceed AHA and OSHA training standards.
Our subject matter expertise goes beyond the classroom
CPR Plus instructors are not just educators. We’re also healthcare professionals — nurses, first responders, and other providers — who teach from our real-world experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, cardiac care, and critical care.
But we’re also a group of people who care deeply about our families, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. We care about yours too, which is why we love helping our community and teaching people to save lives. This level of care and commitment shows in the classes we teach. We invite you to come see how it makes all the difference.
CPR Plus instructors are proudly certified by the American Heart Association. This means we’re also trained and backed by the industry leader.

A word from the founder and owner of CPR Plus
Hi, my name is Stacy Graff Baehmann. I opened CPR Plus in 1993 with a commitment to serve my community, local businesses, and healthcare providers. CPR Plus operates on two basic principles:
- Make training simple and convenient for our clients.
- Teach so our students feel confident in their skills and ready to respond in an emergency.
These standards have never changed since our founding, and I personally work with every client to help uphold them.
I have more than 25 years of experience in the emergency medical field, including eight years as a volunteer EMT. I’ve been involved with the American Heart Association since 1993. Currently, I’m a training center coordinator, national committee member, training center faculty member, and volunteer with the AHA.
I’m really glad you’re here, and so are our instructors. We’re excited to share our knowledge and experience with you. Ready to learn how to save a life?
