Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course at CPR Plus focuses on urgent care treatment for cardiac arrest, stroke, and other cardiovascular emergencies as well as proper ECG analysis, defibrillation, and intubation. This on-site American Heart Association (AHA) training teaches the leading industry standards required for healthcare providers.

CPR Plus delivers convenient in-person training to your office space to accommodate your company’s schedule. We also help individuals who are seeking ACLS certification by offering classes at multiple locations throughout the St. Louis.

Upon successful completion of the course, a certification card will be issued within 24 hours or even the same day of the class. The card is valid for two years.

This advanced level course comprehensively covers the following areas:

  • Problem solving strategies during simulated cardiac emergencies
  • Systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology practices
  • Team dynamics and communication
  • Major signs and symptoms of stroke

Physicians, respiratory therapists, intensive care staff, and critical care units will greatly benefit from the in-person training.

CPR Plus offers another unique way to become ACLS certified. The HeartCode® ACLS program is a great option for students who want to learn outside of the traditional classroom setting. This two-part, online opportunity gives students the freedom to review material at their own pace.
